2012 CHAPTER 19 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
CSEA would like to recognize Megan Yasaki and Cassondra Mc Michael as the 2012 CSEA Scholarship Award recipients!
Megan is a senior at West High School and has been involved in the entertainment unit and California Scholarship Federation, as well as being recognized on the honor roll all four years. An active member of her church, Megan held several offices and had many leadership roles. Megan would like to pursue a career in biomedical research at UC San Francisco. She would like to get into a medical research program to study more about the human’s inner workings.
Cassondra is a senior at North High School and has been active in their Hispanic Cultural Club, Art Club and a tutor for 8th grade Algebra students. With plans to attend Santa Monica Junior College, Cassondra would like to study graphic design. Her career goal is to be a graphic designer in the corporate field and continue her education to receive her masters from Cal State Long Beach.
The scholarship awards will be presented to Megan and Cassondra on May 24 at 5:30 pm in the Classified Conference Center. Please plan on attending to wish her congratulations and good luck!
