There is a special enrollment by American Fidelity Assurance Company for Disability Income Insurance. All new applicants can enroll without answering health questions.
If you have a pre-existing condition you can still enroll for this insurance for a limited time. This offer is only good from now until May 31st. The school district does not provide the option into paying for state disability. What if you should become ill or injured outside of work? You should consider insurance to protect your ability to help pay for the rent/morgage, utilities, car payments and so on.
