CSEA has many resources available to Chapter members from discounts on movie tickets to home loans; disaster relief funds (available through the Dorothy Bjork Fund); and assistance for legal immigrants in becoming US citizens.
Communication between our members.
We would like to see each site that employs ‘classified staff’ (that is every site by the way, 15 schools, the District Office and Maintenance and Operations) have a column to communicate items of interest which would be encouraging for our membership at large. It would be a great place to recognize a chapter member for a job well done or a special accomplishment outside of work perhaps in the community. Perhaps your site is planning a special event or participating in a special activity. Let’s let each other know ‘What’s happening in our District’.
