Proving our commitment to education
In May, 2005 CSEA aired its first television ads throughout California. The ads, which ran during the 20th annual Classified School Employee Week, were produced to introduce classified employees to the general public.
On an individual level, most people know who we are and understand that the work we do is important. Parents know us as the bus driver and the school secretary. Community college students know us as the financial aid assistant and the security officer. But as a group, classified employees are relatively unknown.
These video images show the pride and dedication that classified employees bring to work every day. For us, it’s more than a job. Our commitment to education is about essential work and extraordinary employees.
