Victory Club

Your commitment to CSEA helps make our union the best at what it does—serving and protecting our members. That is why I'm asking for your help in this challenging political year.

The CSEA Victory Club raises money to help us pass local school bonds, increase education funding, elect better school board members and educate the public about important ballot measures. Every Victory Club dollar is spent on election issues (not one dollar goes to CSEA overhead).

CSEA members are some of the greatest activists in public education. CSEA members are always there-walking precincts, phone banking and raising money for the Victory Club. You have helped elect better legislators and school board members. You have helped defeat harmful ballot initiatives. And you have helped CSEA have a stronger, more powerful voice at the district and at the State Capitol.

Join the Victory Club
I know that we are up to the challenges we face in 2005, but I need your help. If you are not a Victory Club member, please join today. If you are a member, please consider upgrading your contribution. Let's continue to build this union together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who is eligible to join the Victory Club or make donations to it?
A. All CSEA members (actively working and/or retired) and staff are eligible to become a member. Donations from people who are not associated with CSEA but support our causes are gladly accepted.

Q. How many have joined the Victory Club so far?
A. There are currently over13,000 proud Victory Club members. While this may seem like a large membership, it represents less than 10% of the CSEA membership. There is much room to grow!

Q. Can CSEA retired members pay through automatic monthly PERS benefit deduction?
A. Yes, that's the way to go!

Q. Why does it cost me a minimum of $15 if I pay my dues once a year, and $10 if I pay $1 per month through payroll deduction (I am a ten-month employee)?
A. Automatic payroll deductions lower administrative costs and maximize Victory Club long-range budget planning. Annual contributions require additional bookkeeping, tracking, and reminders to members about their annual contributions.

Any unanswered questions about the Victory Club should be directed to your field office.
