Election 2016

High stakes in 2016 Election

There is a lot on the line for CSEA members and public education this November. The President we elect will nominate at least one Supreme Court justice; adequate funding for our schools hinges on Proposition 55; and there are a number of important local and state races of immense importance to classified employees and working families across the state. The deadline to register to vote is October 24.

Know Your Rights

As classified employees, we are afforded many basic rights by law or through collective bargaining. Learn about your rights on the job and what you can do to protect yourself if your rights are violated.

Putting pensions in perspective

CalPERS President Rob Feckner responds to recent news and opinions critical of the pension fund’s 2015/16 investment returns.
