Humanitarian Fund needs your help

CSEA takes care of its members on the job, but it also lends a helping hand in times of crisis. Please help us replenish this donation-only fund so it can continue to be there for members who need it.

School Safety Plans

Lessons learned from school emergencies highlight the importance of preparing school officials and first responders to implement emergency operations plans. These plans must be updated every year.
Noon Duty

CSEA welcomes noon duty aides

As of January 1, 2018, all noon duty aides are classified employees by California law. CSEA welcomes you to the classified service and proudly invites you to join us as a CSEA member.

Know your rights

Classified employees are afforded many basic rights by law or through collective bargaining. Learn about your rights on the job and what you can do to protect yourself if your rights are violated.

Classified School Employee Week

California will celebrate Classified School Employee Week May 20-26 and honor the contributions of classified school employees. From transporting and feeding students to teaching them vital skills and ensuring that schools are operating smoothly, classified employees are the heartbeat of our schools and community colleges.

CSEA and the community

CSEA members are known for being active in the community. In many ways, that's what being a CSEA member is all about. Whether we’re working for local charities or volunteering in youth sports programs, we serve our communities with the same pride that we serve our students and schools.
