The deadline to register to vote is October 24. Make sure you are registered and make sure you vote.

Governor Brown

Governor signs State Budget

The 2015-16 state budget provides a $7.6 billion boost for public education, including additional funding for K-12, county offices of education and community colleges.

During the recession, our public schools lost over $50 billion in funding. We can't afford to go back to that. Support maintaining the tax rate on the wealthiest Californians – not handing them a tax cut that would cost our schools nearly $4 billion annually.
