CSEW Social Media

Social media is a great way to publicize the contributions of classified employees and events leading up to and during Classified School Employee Week. Use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media networks to communicate your message and share with co-workers, friends and family.

In addition to major social gatherings, there are several ways for you to celebrate CSEW and share your pride in the work you do.

Facebook

Social Media Tips

Use Images
Remember that pictures always make social media posts more attractive. In addition to photographs, consider uploading fliers you’ve created for barbecues and other events.

Create Links
Give readers a link to your website to get more information. This will not only ensure they have all the necessary details, but also reinforce that your chapter website is the place to go for current news.

Share It
Ask your chapter members to share and retweet your postings to ensure that all your members see them.

Keep it Short
Social media is for short postings, not lengthy stories. Tell people what’s important, how to get more information and end your post.

Stay Local
Keep it local when possible. Yes, CSEW is a statewide event, but try to share what’s going on in your CSEA chapter.
