Governor releases May Revise

Governor Signs 2015-16 Budget

Yesterday, four days ahead of the constitutional deadline, Governor Jerry Brown signed a balanced, on-time state budget that increases California's Rainy Day Fund, pays down debt, increases school funding, and boosts programs to combat poverty and homelessness. Legislature Passes Budget to Governor

Yesterday, the legislature approved the state's budget spending plan and several budget trailer bills. The spending plan is based on the agreement reached by Governor Jerry Brown, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de Leon. Read More »
