Bio:

Art Siegrist has been working for the district for over 16 years.  Art has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, and Information Technology, and lives in Cerritos with his partner of 10 years.  He started as a Technology Technician, where he worked for Pioneer High School, California High School and Santa Fe High School before finally transferring to the District where he currently works for the I.T. Department as an I.T. Support Specialist serving all sites.

Art has served on the E-Board as Sargent-at-Arms for 3 years, second Vice President for 4 years, and currently holds the Office of President for C.S.E.A. Chapter 42.  Art also served on C.S.E.A.’s State Technology Task Force and the State Research and Negotiations Committee, and just completed his Union Steward Training to become a Jacketed Union Steward. 

Art is very active in his Neighborhood Association as a Board Member, planting over 600 trees in his surrounding neighborhood and raising money to improve his community through “Hamilton Helping Hands”, a group responsibly for helping elderly members of the community.  In his spare time, Art runs a non-profit Animal Rescue, providing pet food to owners in need of assistance with the care of their pets.

Bio:

Sandra Ruiz currently serves as Vice President for Chapter 42.  She has worked for the Whittier Union High School District for the past 20 years and is a proud parent of three children.  Her eldest is a Special Educator, her second child is in the military and stationed in Utah, while her youngest served four years in the military and is now completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Services.  Sandra has two beautiful grandchildren who she adores and enjoys.  She has traveled to Ecuador, Florida, New York, Hawaii (4 times), North & South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Kentucky.  She enjoys traveling, reading, swimming and soaking up the sun at the beach!  My ultimate goal and longtime dream is to travel to Bora Bora, The Bahamas and some Latin American countries.

Bio:

Bio:  Graduate of WHS.  Started working at WUHSD Adult School Parent Ed Program in Feb 1988 as an instructional assistant.  Moved to WHS as Clerk 2 in Learning Materials in March 1995.    Became Clerk 3 in Business & Activities in summer of 2003.  Over the years I have served Chapter 42 as Secretary & the Chapter Public Relations Officer.  I have attended CSEA Trainings for chapter officers & job stewards; attended CSEA Conference several times.  Received Unsung Hero Award at Area G luncheon in 2018.  I have 2 children (David-CHS class of 2000 and Amy-WHS class of 2002) & 2 grandchildren (David’s Gavin is almost 5 & Amy’s Penny will be 3 in July 2018).  I am also active in the Whittier/Pico Rivera Council PTA as their webmaster, the WHS PTSA, the Whittier Woman’s Club for 34 years, a member of the Whittier Historical Society, the Whittier Area Genealogical Society and a board member of the WHS Alumni Association/Educational Foundation.

Bio:

Started working with the Food Services as a Consultant in August 2010, and was officially hired as Sr. Bookkeeper for the Food Services Department in December 2010 holding the same position to date.  She completed Masters in Business Administration with Bachelors in Business Administration and Accounting.  A Licensed Tax Return Preparer in California, Marylou is a proud mother of three professionals - an HRM Graduate, an Accountant and a Registered Nurse with four lovely grandchildren.

 Leadership, Friendship and Service is her passion in life. An active proponent for  nonprofit organizations, a prime mover in supporting different services in the community like Heal the Bay, LA Food Bank, Feed the Homeless, Operation Gratitude to name a few. 

Currently Site Representative for SEC, she served as the Pre-Retirement Representative of the Chapter and through the years as a member of various committees.  Also served to audit the   Financial Report of the Chapter and attended seminars and annual convention for CSEA.

Bio:

Erma Quinn is currently the Registrar at Pioneer High School.  She has worked for the Whittier Union High School District for the past 17 years.  She has been a CSEA Site Rep for the past 4 years and this year was elected as the CPRO. She has participated in various union committees.   She is a proud mother of 4 grown children and her Boxer, Lola.  Her other activity she serves as an advisory for Titans for Christ Club at Pioneer High.  She loves working with her Titan family.

Bio:

Whittier High School alumni, began working part time for Whittier High School as an Instructional Aide in 1998.  Currently working out of WUHSD District Office as Information Technology Support Specialist, proud member of CSEA for 20 years.  Active member for a few years, participating in several committees, currently holding Sergeant at Arms.  Last but not least proud Mother of two, 13 year old Sofia Refugia Larine and 8 year old Valentino Rene Larine.

Bio:

Albert G. Ferranco has been working for Whittier Union for 3 years. First as a substitute teacher then later hired as a Technology Instructional Assistant at Whittier High school. A lifelong resident of Whittier, Albert graduated from California High School and moved on to earn his degree at California State University, Fullerton. He was appointed as a webmaster during the Siegrist administration and hopes to serve our chapter for years to come.
