RISE UP! Mental Health and Resilience Program
Class Length: 90 minutes
Through this program, attendees will apply a trauma-informed lens to challenging interactions, practice self-regulation tools to use in moments of stress and conflict, practice resilience tools and regulation techniques to support staff and student health.

The expert facilitators that make up the Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre, Johanna Auxais, Horacio Galaviz, Billoah Greene, and Joseph Zavala, draw from arts-based practices and guide participants through collaborative exercises, reflective practices, and creative expression to develop a deep understanding of their own strengths and the collective power of resilience. As the facilitators of the Resilience in School Environments: Understanding and Practice or RISE UP program, they work with schools daily to foster resilience through interaction and entertainment.
